The True Christian Way
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
For Today's Christian
If evil looked evil and sin felt like sin, then everyone would avoid it and no one would fall prey to it.
For almost 20 years I thought I was saved. I was wrong. I was an UNSAVED CHRISTIAN. Thankfully, God has spent the last two and a half years patiently showing me the light. It has been a very painful and difficult journey back to the right path but I am grateful to God for the "wake-up" call He gave me. This is what I have learnt: knowing about Jesus, believing that He is the Son of God and even accepting Him as your Savior, does not mean you are saved.
The bible says that strait (very hard and difficult) and narrow is the path that leads to eternal life but broad and easy is the way to destruction. I believe that Heaven and Hell are real...personally, I choose Heaven. I want eternal life with my Creator. It doesn't make sense to me to participate in a life of sin if it means I will suffer an eternity in hell. I can see nothing on earth that is worth such a consequence.
Being a Christian means having Jesus at the center of your life, following the commandments and living a life according to THE WORD. It means being sanctified and separated from the way of the world. The act of becoming a Christian is a transformative experience. Romans 12:2 tells us: "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
It is not possible to be a part of the world and say you serve God...it is a lie. You cannot be a Christian and live like the rest of the world; you cannot have your feet in two places and you cannot serve two masters. Quite frankly, it is a great deception among many people who believe themselves saved.
I created this blog as a means of support and encouragement to help fellow Christians on their Journey to eternity. I do not believe that it is meant to be a journey that one undertakes alone. I hope that the “Messages” that came from my mess can bless you in a real way. Take some time to explore the blog, read something interesting, and feel free to reach out if you would like to share or need support.
